Active ICT Day in Primary 6
Primary 6 had a fantastic day yesterday getting active with ICT. We had a fun filled day filled with lots of visitors and different ICT activities. In the morning we had the pleasure of welcoming Colm from the Nerve Centre into Primary 6 and he taught us all about using iMovie and Green Screen and we even got to create our own trailers and showcase these to the rest of the class. We then had the pleasure of having the Dry Arch Centre visiting us and delivering their CyberPal programme for us. It was great learning about how to stay online and the key message we learned was to STOP, BLOCK and TELL. We each received a CyberPal wristband and we are delighted to all now be CyberPals within Roe Valley. We got to spend the afternoon using our wonderful iPads and we learned all about a new app called Book Creator. We got to create our own books to showcase all of our wonderful learning during Active ICT Day. What a great day all round :)
