What a fantastic day celebrating numeracy in Primary 5. We started the day with a measuring nature walk around school. We used lots of different things to measure like cubes, rulers and even pencils. Can you believe our biggest leaf was over 30cm!After break we put our detective hats on and solved the cases of the missing glue sticks and run away gingerbread men. Thank goodness we caught the culprits! After lunch we played lots of numeracy games with our buddies. The highlight of the day was definitely Izak 9, we loved rearranging the blocks to order numbers and percentages then we had to work super hard to put the cubes back in the correct positions. Well done to the boys who completed it in the fastest time!
