European Languages Day In Primary 6
Primary 6 had a great time today celebrating European Day of Languages. We had a fun filled day packed with many different activities. We began our morning with a French lesson with Christina, this was a change from our usual Spanish lessons. Christina taught us a new song in French and we even got to try some French foods. After break we had such a brilliant session tasting lots of different foods from different places in Europe ranging from Italy, France, Germany, Poland and Belgium. Some of the foods were really yummy and others not so yummy, I think our faces in the photos say it all! Primary 6 and Miss Holmes are most definitely not fans of olives! We also had our Primary 6 European Day of Languages show and tell and we enjoyed looking at and listening to the different items that our fellow classmates had brought in from different countries. To end the day we had some iPad time and spent time researching different flags. A great day all round!
