P3 Hot Air Balloon Experiment

It’s amazing how a fantastic homework project idea turns into an active numeracy weight lesson.  The boys were sent on a secret mission to find out how many pom poms the hot air balloon would be able to carry.  In groups the class made their estimates and discussed how the position of the pom poms may also change the results!  Themes, numeracy and science all rolled into one!!
