Primary 3 enjoyed every minute of the fantastic money lesson delivered by Mrs Hegarty from Lloyds Bank. During the lesson the children explored the following topics...
- where money comes from
- recognising and adding up different coin values
- appreciating the variety of feelings that money can evoke
- exploring the principles of saving and how to keep those savings safe
After break we were also delighted to take part in a wonderful Christmas card art project where the children designed a decorated a beautiful Christmas Card for adults suffering from dementia-we just love putting a big smile on people’s faces J
To celebrate our learning Mrs Hegarty treated us all to a delicious chocolate coin! Yum yum and a BIG thank-you to Mrs Hegarty!
