Primary 5 really enjoyed making their own board games as part of World Maths Day. They worked together as a team to discuss and create their individual board games and instructions. They thought about how they would move around their board game, either through dice, characters or by picking up cards with tricky sums on them! Once they were finished, they shared their games with their peers and had lots of time to explore and play each other’s games as well! We also had some tricky problem solving tasks featuring lots of fruit pastilles. We had to share the packets equally amongst P5, before getting to taste them and creating a graph of our favourite flavours!
