What a blast we had in Primary 6 today to celebrate World Book Day. Miss Holmes could not believe her eyes when we all came into Primary 6 this morning at just how fabulous we all looked in our cosy pyjamas, dressing gowns and slippers. We spent the morning enjoying our delicious 'Big Book Breakfast' and designing bookmarks. We also had a lovely book themed Spanish lesson with Christina. After break we completed a World Book Day class quiz and we really impressed Miss Holmes with our wonderful knowledge about lots of different stories. We then had the exciting task of becoming book designers and illustrators and we got to create our very own books for the RVIPS World Book Day competition. We cannot wait to find out who has designed the winning book! In the afternoon we enjoyed a 'Movie Night' along with some yummy ice-cream, chocolate and sweets. We decided to watch The Diary of a Wimpy Kid as we really love The Diary of a Wimpy Kid books. What a fun filled day in Primary 6! #worldbookday #learningthroughbooks
