Primary 7 Biodiversity in Roe Valley Country Park
7th Nov 2017
We have spent time this term exploring, examining and investigating the variety of trees, invertebrates and mammals in Roe Valley Country Park. We identified differences in the landscape and animal activity in the woodland between late summer and mid autumn. We worked in groups to survey the health of tress in different parts of the park and at school wrote reports on some mammals commonly found in RVCP. We had lots of fun and learned so much about our local area. Did you know that Ritter's Café is named after the man who brought the first Hydroelectric power station to Northern Ireland - John Ritter!!!!
