*St Brigid's Day at RVIPS*

St. Brigid’s Day is celebrated on 1st February. For some families in our school community this day symbolises the beginning of spring. It is said to signal an end to the darkness of winter and welcome in a new season of hope and growth. There is a popular tradition of making crosses in St Brigid’s honour.
Today, as part of our Roe Valley IPS shared learning ethos, the children in Primary 5 and Primary 6 took part in making St Brigid's crosses.
