*P1 World Maths Day 2023*
Primary One had the best time on World Maths Day. We started our day exploring addition and breaking and making numbers, and exploring number formation with playdoh. We then ventured into our carpark and investigated all of the different numbers and patterns we could see on Car Number Plates. Some cars had four numbers, some had three numbers, some cars even had as little as two numbers and one car had one number. We found patterns and our age, and even some numbers in sequence, it was an adventure. Within Numeracy this month Primary One are exploring handling data and we had the opportunity to begin this attainment through creating our very own human pictogram. It was lots of fun, with Apples being the most popular fruit and Pears being the least popular fruit. We discovered that numbers are everywhere in our world and it is crucial that we have the opportunity to explore them. Take a look at our photos.
